With the festive period here, why not try a couple of our recommended recipes!

Chai – Vanilla Chai

This Chai can be prepared in three simple ways;

- With Water; Firstly, add 3 teaspoons of powder into a cup. Secondly, stir in 200ml of hot water.

- With Milk; Add 3 teaspoons of powder into a cup, stir in 250 ml hot milk.

- With Ice; Firstly, put 4 teaspoons of powder into a cup. Then pour in cold milk and whizz with a milk frother and serve over ice.

 

Gingerbread Latte Macchiato – Ingredients; 30ml 1883 Gingerbread Syrup, 250ml Milk, 60ml Espresso

1) Pour the syrup into a large cup.

2) Steam milk and pour it on top of the syrup.

3) Run an espresso and gently pour it on top of the rest of the ingredients.

 

Amaretto Cookies (pictured right) – Ingredients; 30ml Espresso, 90ml Milk Foam, 20ml Amaretto Syrup, optional cocoa bean and dark chocolate cookies

1) Pour the espresso in a large cup.

2) Pour the chilled full-cream milk and syrup in a milk jug.

3) Foam with a steam wand to obtain a creamy, smooth texture, then pour in the cup.

4) Optionally, garnish with grated cocoa bean and slivers of dark-chocolate cookies.

 

Chamallow Coffee Viennois – Ingredients; 20ml 1883 Toasted Marshmallow Syrup, 30ml Espresso, 120ml Whole Milk, Whipped Cream 

1) Pour the syrup in a cappuccino cup.

2) Run an espresso.

3) Sprinkle with cinnamon powder.

4) Warm up milk with the steamer and pour in the cup.

5) Garnish with Whipped Cream.

 

Butterscotch Macchiato – Ingredients; 20ml 1883 Butterscotch syrup, 30ml Espresso, 120ml Milk

1) Whip up and heat the milk with a steam nozzle.

2) Pour the syrup into glass.

3) Pour in the hot milk, then pour in the coffee with a spoon.

4) Finish by coating with the milk foam.

 

Mint Hot Chocolate - Ingredients; 20ml 1883 Green Mint Syrup, Hot Chocolate, optional whipped cream

1) Pour the syrup into cup.

2) Make your hot chocolate as per the instructions (with milk or water) and mix

3) Top with a layer of whipped cream and sprinkle chocolate over the cream
