The cooperative was founded in 2006; it is primarily made up of members from the Lempira Township. Lempira is situated in the hillside which is fed by natural springs in the area. This is a subsistent farming area, with coffee being intercropped with mangoes,
rice and black beans.
The cooperative continues to grow in membership and improve its coffee output.
